Is Brisbane worth a visit?

Yes! take it from a foreigner, Brisbane is the city, it depends on what your looking for. I went north all the way to Cairns, absolute thrilling adventure. Oops forgot the gold coast, that is something else also. The best was visiting the plantations like the Pineapple Plantations, Sugar Mills, also Banana and Mango plantations. Snorkeled the Great Barrier Reef, that was one hell of an experience. So if your headed just to Brisbane, it will be at least something new for you.

Nope. Nothing to do there unless your interested in going to the beach everyday. But that’s only if your going in summer. Id recommend Sydney! It’s a bit pricey but so worth it. There’s weekly events generally, and you can climb the bridge!

It’s ok. I much prefer the Gold Coast, ie surfers Paradise and down that end, it’s only an hours drive from Brissie. I spose there are museums and stuff to visit, I did’t find Brisbane to be that exciting.

I live in Melbourne and just spent two days in Brisbane and loved it . Spent a day in southbank then the night at a pub under the story bridge had a great time , you can go up and down the river for $5 great value

Or the West End-South Brisbane area which is very suburban, green, spacious and full of  new and old, it can be described as Continue reading “Is Brisbane worth a visit?” »
